Founded in 2005, Divine Mercy Parish was formed by the merger of Saint Stanislaus Church (1890), Church of the Holy Cross (1891), and Saints Peter & Paul Church (1899), as a Roman Catholic community of faith centered on the celebration of the Eucharist and the proclamation of the Gospel through evangelization, ministry, and outreach to the needy.

Divine Mercy Parish welcomes the Very Reverend David M. O'Connell, C.M., Coadjutor Bishop of the Diocese of Trenton
As Coadjutor Bishop, Bishop O’Connell will automatically become head of the four county Diocese of Trenton when Pope Benedict XVI accepts the resignation of Bishop John M. Smith as required by canon law at a date yet to be determined.
Bishop O’Connell was ordained to episcopacy Friday, July 30, 2010 in the Cathedral of St. Mary of the Assumption in Trenton.
