Meeting Christ in Prayer
An 8-Week Life-Enriching Experience
Meeting Christ in Prayer offers you the following opportunities:
- To seek spiritual renewal
- To learn how to pray as an adult
- To deepen your spiritual life
- To form regular prayer habits or try new ways of praying
- To reflect on Scripture
- To join a supportive community and share your faith with others
- To become more aware of God's presence and action in your life
Meeting Christ in Prayer will be offered on Sunday afternoons from 1:30 to 3:00 PM, beginning February 12 and concluding on April 1st. All sessions are currently planned to be held at Felician House, 233 Adeline Street. Light refreshments will be served.
Are you interested in participating? Please complete the form in the bulletin and return as soon as possible in the collection basket or to the Faith Formation Office, Attention: Rosemarie Micharski.

DIVINE MERCY PARISH CHILDREN’S CHOIR
(Grades 2-8)
Rehearsals are held Thursdays from 5:45—6:45 PM
in the Holy Cross Church Choir Loft
The Children’s Choir sings on the first Sunday of each month
at the 10:00 AM Mass and Easter Sunday at Holy Cross Church.

DIVINE MERCY PARISH ADULT CHOIR
All rehearsals are held on Thursday evenings from 7:00 to 8:30 PM in the Holy Cross choir loft.
At this time, we invite other parishioners who love to sing to join. (Male voices are especially encouraged.) The choir sings at alternating weekend Masses as well as for our Christmas and Easter Vigils.
Come and join the choir in singing the Lord's praises. You may obtain more information after any Mass ~ please see Elizabeth, Director of Music Ministry, or Donna, Choir Director.

FUNERAL CHOIR
Do you love to sing and have thought about joining the Adult Choir but cannot make rehearsals on Thursday evenings?
Join the FUNERAL CHOIR! No rehearsals required! The Funeral Choir will participate in song during funeral liturgies in support of the family and friends who have gathered to pray for their loved one.

Every THIRD Saturday only: 9:00 AM to 12:00 Noon

"Angels of Mercy" Religious Shop
(Religious items are available at low cost)
Hours:
Third Saturday of each month 9:00 AM to 12:00 Noon
We are continuing to collect unused religious items (Spanish and English) such as Bibles, rosaries, statues, and religious pictures.

meets at Clement House on the third (3rd) Sunday of every month

Parishioners are asked to kindly continue to bring non-perishable (canned and boxed) food items, baby diapers, etc. for distribution to those in need.

We are currently NOT accepting any donations of clothing. Thank you for your understanding. We will post a notice when we resume the collection of slightly worn clothing for men, women and children.

Religious Education Program
Registration News
Religious Education classes are held on Tuesdays from 6:15 to 7:30 p.m. The children go directly to their assigned classroom, where the teacher and aide will wait for them.
If you have not already registered your child for the upcoming year (2011/2012), you may do so by coming to the Parish Business Office, Monday through Friday between the hours of 9:00 AM - 4:00 PM. Please have your child’s Baptismal Certificate available at time of registration.
In the words of Mother Teresa of Calcutta, “Keep the joy of loving God in your heart and share this joy with all you meet, especially your family.”

REGISTRATION FEES
$40 for 1 child
$80 for 2 children
$100 for 3 or more children
Fees will be added to registration for the children receiving the Sacraments of First Reconciliation and First Eucharist, and Confirmation. Sacramental fees are as follows:
- Reconciliation and First Eucharist: $35.00 per child
- Confirmation: $55.00 per child
New Registrants: Baptismal Certificates must accompany the registration form.
It is imperative that all children are registered prior to September.
