Divine Mercy Parish - Fifth Anniversary

Mass of Thanksgiving - 12:30 PM at Holy Cross Church

Tickets are $30.00 for adults with three entree selections
Tickets are $15.00 for children 12 years and younger
with one entree selection
Tables may be reserved for parties of 8 or 10 only!
To obtain tickets, please complete the reservation form in the parish bulletin and bring it with you to either worship site or the parish office with your payment to receive your tickets to this joyous parish celebration.

Rehearsals are held Thursdays from 5:45—6:45 PM
in the Holy Cross Church Choir Loft
The Children’s Choir will sing on the first Sunday of each month
at the 10:15 AM Mass and Easter Sunday at Holy Cross Church.

We are continuing to collect unused religious items (Spanish and English) such as Bibles, rosaries, statues, and religious pictures.

Parishioners are asked to kindly continue to bring non-perishable (canned and boxed) food items, baby diapers, etc. for distribution to those in need.
We accept slightly worn and clean clothing for men, women and children, babies and toddlers. For men there is a special need for jeans, coats, pants, as well as all sizes of shoes for men/women.
Please bring clothing to Mercy House during the hours it is open or leave them in the vestibule of either worship site. Thank you! Please Note: No clothing should be left at St. Stanislaus Convent.
YOUR HELP IS NEEDED! Volunteers to assist with sorting and distributing clothing are needed. Please contact Mercy House at 609.396.0853 to speak with one of the coordinators during the hours of operation (see above). Thank you.

Religious Education Program
Registration News
Religious Education classes are held on Tuesdays from 6:15 to 7:30 p.m. The children go directly to their assigned classroom, where the teacher and aide will wait for them.
If you have not already registered your child for the upcoming year (2010/2011), you will have the opportunity to do so at designated weekend Masses in the month of August. Or, you may do so by coming to the Parish Business Office, Monday through Friday between the hours of 9:00 AM - 4:00 PM. Please have your child’s Baptismal Certificate available at time of registration.
Join us for an Open House on September 14, 2010 from 6:15 to 7:30 PM at the Religious Education Program's new location: the former St. Stanislaus School on Smith Street and Home Avenue.
- Meet Sr. Karen Crawford, FSSJ and Mrs. Rosemarie Micharski, CRE, the Religious Education Program Co-coordinators and Sr. Loretta Janiszewski, FSSJ, Mission Moderator
- Hear about our Religious Education Program and how much parent involvement is needed for your child(ren)’s faith education
- Meet the catechists, pick up class information, tour the classrooms, and ask questions
- Find out what your child will be learning at Religious Education classes
- Meet other parents whose children attend Divine Mercy Parish’s Religious Education Program
- Register your child(ren)
Classes will formally begin on Tuesday, September 21, 2010.

REGISTRATION FEES
$40.00 per child
$100.00 per family (3 or more children)
Fees will be added to registration for the children receiving the Sacraments of First Reconciliation and First Eucharist, and Confirmation. Sacramental fees are as follows:
- Reconciliation and First Eucharist: $35.00 per child
- Confirmation: $55.00 per child
New Registrants: Baptismal Certificates must accompany the registration form.
It is imperative that all children are registered prior to September.
